just a few kilometers away in Hanamkonda we have Thousand pillar temple built in 1163AD. This temple is a masterpiece of ancient science and engineering. it is dedicated to three gods. when we walk inside you will notice a dense forest of highly polished black pillars. the architecture is shaped like a star, and the pillars are arranged so well that we can see the main entrance from any corner of the place. This is one of the best place in warangal, i always visit temple whenever i go to warangal. i get good vibes whenever i enter this place. and the most unique thing is that nandi faces away from the main temple and looks towards the side entrance, which is highly unusual in indian temples

BHADRAKALI TEMPLE: A sacred place in warangal

Bhadrakali Temple is one of the most visited places in Warangal, attracting devotees and tourists throughout the year. this is the most powerful and most beautiful temple which is beside the edge of massive lake. the world famous priceless kohninoor diamond was originally installed as the left eye of this goddess before it was taken away by invading armies. today, the government has built a beautiful green Geo Biodiversity park along the lake side. one of the most visiting place with family and friends.we can take the blessing of the goddess. this temple is filled with devotees at the time of DUSSERA. people come from different places to take the blessings of the goddess.

RAMAPPA TEMPLE

this temple is called as” the floating stone wonder“. located about 70 kms away in palampet. Ramappa temple is so structurally and unique that it has been designated as UNESCO world heritage site. the uniquesness of this temple is that it is named after its chief architect a man named Ramappa. the speciality of this temple is that it has floating bricks, earthquake proof foundation and musical pillars. i have visited this temple in my childhood. we had great fun. i had great memory with is temple.

LAKNAVARAM LAKE AND THE SWINGING BRIDGE

one of my most faourite place is Laknavaram. most beautiful and peaceful place to visit. the main attraction here is a 160 meter long swinging suspension bridge that walks you directly over the water to connect three small islands. walking across this bridge as it sways gently in the breeze is an exciting experience for visitors. the lake offers speedboat rides and traditional ferry boat tours. I always visit with my family at the time of sankranti festival. we have lakeside camping sites and wooden cottages where you can sleep under the stars

PAKHAL LAKE

Pakhal lake is a man made reservior located in warangal district of Telangana. constructed in 1213AD by the kakatiya ruler Ganapati Deva.The lake was created by building an earthen bund across a small tributary flowing through the surrounding hills.Covers an area of approximately 30 square kilometers (seasonally variable depending on rainfall).Surrounded by dense forests and low hills. Provides irrigation water to nearby agricultural lands. Offers scenic views, especially during the monsoon and winter months. The main purpose is it built this lake is for irrigation purpose. Pakhal Lake is located about 50 km east of Warangal in Mulugu district.

The lake is located beside the pakhal wild life sanctuary spanning 839 sq kms, which is home for leopards, sloth bears, chital, nilgai, and crocodiles and resident bird species. This lake is a popular destination for birdwatching, naturephotography, picnics and boating. Best place to visit is in the month of oct to feb. we can have a peaceful environment. we enjoy birds sound . must visit place for nature lovers.
